Welcome note from our President.

North Ramsgate Amateur Swimming Club's races are run on handicap starts. Using handicap races provides the opportunity for all swimmers to win races, trophies and become club champions. The club also encourages the younger swimmers to enter carnivals which will give them confidence in race conditions and particularly when they can participate in school carnivals.

In the past many of our younger swimmers have moved over to the other clubs as their swimming improved and to gain more experience and greater challenges.

The club races are held on Sunday mornings commencing at 7.30am and finish at 9.00am. Officials usually arrive around 7am to set up and collate events. The race season lasts for 22 weeks commencing about the second weekend of October with a two week break over Christmas/New Year.

NRASC was formed almost eighty years ago and until 1970 operated from Pemberton baths (where Coles are located on the Grand Parade, Ramsgate Beach). During the last 40 years NRASC has successful co-existed with the other clubs that use Sans Souci and Carss Park pools. Our aim has always been to cater for swimmers of all age groups i.e. children and their mums and dads.

Come along 7am on Sunday morning during summer to Dick Caine's Olympic pool
Carwar Ave, Carss Park. 2221 NSW Australia
